About This Course
The Digital Citizen Programme offers an introduction to basic computer concepts for everyday computer use as well as information about keeping safe while using your computer online. This information is specially created with the beginner in mind and is open to everyone regardless of status, education, age or ability. During this programme, you will build your confidence levels while progressing on the path to digital literacy. You will be able to repeat sections and knowledge checks to ensure that you understand what has been learnt before moving on. You will also learn how to get help if you need it and even how to phrase questions (called search phrases) when asking the computer for help.
